Terms & Conditions
By registering for classes at Storybook Dance Studio, families agree to follow all studio policies, procedures, and expectations.
Storybook Dance Studio reserves the right to update policies, schedules, and procedures as needed to maintain a safe and positive experience for all dancers and families.
Tuition Information
Full Sessions: At Storybook Dance Studio, we offer dance classes through structured 8-week sessions designed to provide children with a consistent, engaging, and age-appropriate dance experience. Each session includes carefully planned classes that allow students to build confidence, learn foundational skills, and enjoy the magic of movement and creativity.
If your child wants to continue dancing at the studio, you must re-enroll again for the next session.
Trial Classes: One-time offer to try out a class before committing to an entire session.
Drop-In Classes: Available after early enrollment and can be multiple dates selected in the parent portal.
Minimum Students Required
Minimum of two students per class. If there are less than two, the class may be canceled or shortened to 30 minutes.
If the class is canceled, you will need to move to another class with more attendance, or we can discuss crediting your tuition, but no refunds.
Session Tuition
Payment reserves your child’s place in their selected class and allows Storybook Dance Studio to prepare curriculum, staffing, and resources for the enrolled students.
Payment is due 5 days from the day you registered.
Enrollment is not considered complete until full payment has been received. If you have not paid your balance by the time class starts, your child will be removed from class after one reminder.
Drop-ins are also available. Spaces are not guaranteed if a class is fully booked. All drop-ins are first-come, first-serve basis.
Trial Classes
Trial classes are available for $10 per student and may be used one time only. Trial classes are subject to availability and do not guarantee a spot in the class. If you choose to enroll for the rest of the session, payment will be prorated.
*Trial classes will only be available for the first half of a session and afterwards, any family who wants to try a class can reserve a Drop-In Class Option.
Registration Fee
Storybook Dance Studio does not require a registration fee at this time.
Late Fee
You will be charged a $15.00 fee after your 5-day grace period after you registered. This is a one-time fee and it will show up on your parent portal account.
Refund Policy
All tuition payments are non-refundable once registration has been completed. This includes missed classes due to illness, vacations, schedule conflicts, family obligations, or any other reason.
Because class spots, teacher planning, and studio resources are reserved specifically for enrolled students, Storybook Dance Studio is unable to provide refunds, credits, or prorated tuition for missed classes.
Refunds are not issued due to a missed class.
Cancellation Policy
Families who need to withdraw from an 8-week session must provide written notice at least two (2) weeks before the requested cancellation date. Cancellation requests must be submitted through the approved studio communication method.
Once the cancellation request has been received and processed, no further attendance will be permitted after the approved cancellation date.
Missed Classes & Make-Up Classes
We understand that families occasionally need to miss a class. Make-up classes may be available only when space is available in another class of the same age group and appropriate level. Make-up opportunities are not guaranteed and are offered as a courtesy when possible.
A missed class does not result in a tuition refund, credit, or adjustment.
Class Enrollment
By registering for a session, families are reserving a designated spot for their child for the entire 8-week session. Class placement, teacher preparation, and curriculum planning are based on the number of enrolled students.

Code of Conduct Policy
Storybook Dance Studio is committed to providing a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all dancers, families, and staff.
Families are expected to communicate respectfully, support a positive classroom environment, and treat teachers, staff, and other families with kindness.
Disrespectful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior may result in further action to protect the experience of all students.
Observed Holidays
Storybook Dance Studio observes select holidays throughout the year to allow our teachers, staff, and families time to celebrate and spend time with their loved ones.
Our class schedule may include breaks for the following observed holidays:

Other studio-observed closures as announced
Any scheduled holiday closures will be communicated to families in advance through email, the parent portal, or studio announcements.
Because tuition is based on the full session enrollment and not individual class attendance, observed holiday closures are already considered when creating each session schedule. Tuition will not be prorated, refunded, or adjusted for scheduled studio closures.
Emergency & Safety Policy
The safety of our dancers is our highest priority. Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact information and notifying Storybook Dance Studio of any medical concerns, allergies, or special needs.
In the event of an emergency, Storybook Dance Studio will follow appropriate safety procedures and contact families as needed.
Background Checks & Child Safety
The safety of every child is our highest priority. All Storybook Dance Studio teachers and staff are required to successfully complete a background check before working with children. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and trustworthy environment where families can feel confident that their children are cared for by qualified and responsible instructors.
Website & Copyright Policy
All content on the Storybook Dance Studio website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and materials, is the property of Storybook Dance Studio and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
Website information is provided for general purposes and may be updated as needed.
Liability Waiver
Participation in dance and movement activities involves physical activity and may include risks such as slips, falls, muscle strains, or other injuries. Storybook Dance Studio takes every reasonable precaution to provide a safe, positive, and age-appropriate environment for all students.
By enrolling in classes, parents and guardians acknowledge that participation in dance activities carries inherent risks and agree to release and hold harmless Storybook Dance Studio, its owners, teachers, staff, and representatives from liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during participation, except in cases of proven negligence.
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Storybook Dance Studio of any medical conditions, physical limitations, allergies, or other concerns that may affect their child’s participation.
By completing registration, families acknowledge and agree to this Liability Waiver as a condition of enrollment.
Photo & Media Release Policy
Storybook Dance Studio may take photographs and videos during classes, events, and studio activities to celebrate our dancers and share the Storybook Dance Studio experience.
With parent or guardian permission, photos and videos may be used for studio-related purposes, including our website, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. We will not share private information such as a child’s full name or personal details with images.
Participation in photos or videos is optional. Families who do not wish for their child to be included in studio media may notify Storybook Dance Studio in writing.
By registering for classes, families acknowledge and agree to the use of approved photos and videos as outlined in this policy.
